Thaler Reilly Wilson assisted Tech Valley Communications in the relocation and interior renovation of their new headquarters in downtown Albany. The relocation included the combination of two separate office spaces to one combined office space. TRW provided programming and space planning assistance in order to provide adequate workspace requirements for the several inherently different departments. TRW also provided furniture, finishes, and lighting specifications to create a designed space fit for the high tech industry.
The 14,600 square foot open office layout required workstations to accommodate 89 employees. Some of the highlights include an executive boardroom, production showcase displaying the inner workings of their expansive server collection, and a network operations center (NOC) where the broadband service is monitored 24/7.
