TRW Joins Effort to Restore Historic Paine Mansion, 'The Castle'
We are thrilled to join The Castle Alpha Tau Foundation in their mission to completely restore and preserve the historic Paine Mansion, aka “The Castle”. Once considered to be “The Grandest House in Troy” after its construction in 1896 by wealthy financier and attorney John Welles Paine, the building has remained a vision of Gilded Age excellence and luxury, even lending it’s rich appearance to major film and tv sets over the years.
TRW will work diligently with the Paine Castle team to develop a careful and disciplined approach to adapt the building for modern-day use while preserving the grandeur details of the building’s past. We thank The Castle Alpha Tau Foundation for their profile on TRW’s Mark Thaler and Stephen Reilly on their website, and are excited to continue our work with them to restore Paine Castle to its former glory.
