The week of February 5th marked the start of construction on the new Greene County Justice Center, following our completion of the design and the project's approval in October of last year.

Construction of the Center will occur on the grounds of the former County Sheriff’s office and jail. It will be connected to the Courthouse by an elevated pedestrian walkway for easy access between buildings. The building will house a ground-floor parking garage and upper-level offices for the Greene County Court of Administration, District Attorney and Public Defender. The project's building phase is projected to be complete in the fall of 2025.
