Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture & Preservation has recently completed the design of the Greene County Criminal Justice Center Annex located in the 3rd Judicial District of the NYS Unified Court System. With the construction to start in late 2023.

Constructed in 1910, the Classic Revival historic courthouse serves as a landmark on Main Street in Catskill, NY, however there are significant capacity and space issues with the Courthouse requiring the need for extra space for several court functions such as the Office of Court Administration, District Attorney, and Public Defender. Relocating and reconfiguring these functions to the new building will accomplish OCA’s goals of reconfiguring existing space within the courthouse campus.
The project includes a three story 47,000 square foot building located behind the historic courthouse. In addition to the annex, the project includes the restoration of the two-story historic Carriage House on the campus to be used by building maintenance. The restoration will include replacement of the overhead doors to match the original historic doors, brick repointing and cleaning, and reestablishment of electric and mechanical services.
